We are continuously testing and experimenting with recipes and ingredients in order to provide outstanding food and service. Our menu includes special items for everyone's tastes. We use fresh local products whenever possible, including fruits from the fields and orchards, fish from the big lake, creamy ice cream from a local dairy. Try our best selling entree - Grilled Bayfield Whitefish dinner, served with a medley of mixed vegetables and potatoes - delicious! Take a look at our great beer and wine selections, too. Remember our Happy Hour 4:30 - 6 daily!
Appetizers...
Begin with a serving of one of our tasty APPETIZERS. New for this season are Spinach Artichoke Dip, an Antipasti Platter, and two delicious Flatbreads. Try our savory garlic Breadsticks - back again are our awesome Onion Rings, Cheddar Cheese Nuggets, and Walleye Fingers. Can't choose? Try Ethel's Sampler!
Our entree SALADS will satisfy the most discriminating tastes. The Chequamegon Greens is a real treat- make it a Sailor Sal-ad with the addition of brown sugar smoked lake trout. Try our juicy burgers, grilled chicken, or our best-selling grilled Bayfield whitefish sandwiches, each served with your choice of fries or a mixed greens salad.

You'll love our expanded PASTA menu. We have added Cheesy Mac, our own version of macaroni and cheese - and will continue to feature our homemade Lasagna every Thursday. Back by popular demand - Saturday Ravioli Night! Try our new baked pasta features or an old favorite - Spaghetti and Meatballs.

And then comes the favorite of young and old - PIZZA - the food we all love to share with family and friends, on vacation or at the end of a busy work day. You are sure to find your favorite pizza toppings and combinations here at Ethel's at 250. Try our BAYFIELD SPECIAL pizza, featuring one of Bayfield's famous crops - APPLES! Try some of our other unique offerings - Essie's Pesto Chicken and Hannah's Special, each created by one of our wonderful servers (come and try them!). This season we offer thin crust pizza along with our traditional crust. For those with specific dietary requests, we have 7" GLUTEN FREE PIZZA and can create any number of vegetarian or vegan options. Our entire menu is available for dine in or take out . If you choose to dine with us, you may enjoy a glass of wine or beer with your meal at our bar, in one of our two dining rooms, or on our deck. Remember - this is Bayfield, and life is good!

Parties - Meetings - Gatherings
Sometimes it's nice to have a room to yourself for a family celebration, business meeting, or other special event. Ethel's at 250 can provide space for up to 25-30 people to gather in our Roger's Room or on our enclosed deck during regular business hours, or groups of 60-70 during daytime hours by special arrangement. Contact Sally for room availability and menu options, and plan to schedule your next event with us!
Getting Married In Bayfield?
Congratulations on choosing a wonderful place to celebrate your special day with family and friends! We can provide a place for family to gather upon arrival to town - space for a moderate rehearsal dinner - casual food for your younger guests who may not appreciate a "formal" dinner.
